Update
The SecDef met with my boss to discuss the deployment to Afghanistan. He decided he has not decided to send him or not. So we are still up in the air on if we are going or not. They will meet for a meeting on 15 march to discuss further.
This keeps happening, it goes back and forth all the time, but I won't get the next back or forth word until the 15th at the earliest.

aww, someone else who understands that!
The same thing happen to my dad. They told him to go then they told him he needed to stay because of he was in computers in the AF in 1964. Then they said go and finally they didn't let him go. He said he knows how it is and just try and hang in there.
ides is one of my favorite words.
