Does Afghanistan have an independence day?
Yes, they celebrate the day they broke away from Russia.
How do they celebrate?
I would hand out patriotic Afghan pinwheels to every child and tell them to blow hard and keep their face cool. Either that or an Afghan jazz kazoo.
Jo B, I am so proud of you and got all veclempt watching fireworks and thinking of you out there doing the hardest job on earth for us! You rock.
I like that all you did was post a title and got 7 now 8 comments. Your my hero. (For a number of reasons but this is one of them)
Very nice. They blasted "I love this bar" during the 4th of July picnic. We are under order that no one may consume ANY alcohol, so there was no bar to love. I found it funny.
