Sorry Sir'

My Mom called me. There is a program where your family can call you in Afghanistan, I signed my Mom up for it and she did it the first time this morning. It's been raining three days straight and I never have enough sleep so I went into the conversation a little sleepy. I think it was her soothing Mom voice that pushed me over the edge because I fell asleep on the phone with her while sitting at my desk. I woke up to her calling to me through the phone. As I jolted awake I said, "Oh, sorry Sir'." Which just made us both start laughing.

I'm not sure if its bad I fall asleep in the middle of conversations or if it's worse that the first thing I say is "sorry" and apparently to my boss.

Oh, and I'm going to be in Spain in 2 weeks! Woot Woot!

Fashion

Recently I've been going through fashion magazines, the Vogues, In Styles... and I realize I spend about 90% of my time looking at the amazingly obscure advertisements. Most of these have nothing to do with the product they are marketing, in fact my favorites are the ones where the product isn't anywhere in or hinted to in the picture, I don't know why but I love them.

So, in my red sunglasses this is my ad for....
...uh, potato peelers I think, or socks.

It's Amazing

Ligers actually do exits but they are different than tigons, I just learned this today. Most impressive thing, Ligers are bigger than horses, imagine coming across one of those babies. I started thinking about terrible cominations and believe a Great White Shark mixed with a whale would be awful.

"The Man" Canceled my leave so I had to reschedule two weeks later. This has been one of the most disappointing things I've faced, but things work out, they always do.

Also, I'm going to start tutoring math, which nerdily excites me. The only thing I'm looking forward to more is taking leave! Math is cool.
