I feel January around the corner

Last night was a stiffening 7 degrees. I was cold just standing outside, after a few minutes of standing in the winds of a helo, I stopped feeling it. I almost forgot the cold until I tried to get into my bag, which had impossibly small zipper tabs for my bumbeling frozen fingers. It is cold here.

Jo, we are having another blizzard again just like the last one. We could get another 2 feet of snow.

id you remember to bring a coat? If not, you might be in trouble. Warm up!

It's a balmy 55 here. It'll be 65 in NC, where I'm headed this weekend.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia is the coldest capital city in the world, with an average temperature of 30 degrees. Currently it's -18 there. It's clear; I'm not sure if they'll have cold fog in the evening.

I'm not sure any of this information is helpful, but now you know. And knowing is half the battle. GI Jo. And GI Just.

I just like repeating myself 3 times. Either that or blogger kept messing up. One or the other.

mmm... why didn't you just delete the other two?

Anyway, Jo that's really cold. Ellen told me a story the other day that once when she was in college it was -55 degrees out side which was 15 degrees colder than it was in the North Pole at exactly the same time. Be glad it's not that cold.

PS I can't believe it's almost 2007. WEIRD

Hi Joanna! All of us are here at home and missing having you here. Jill, Jean, Mom and Dad! We went to see a movie tonight- the Holiday and thought you would like it. Then, we went to Wal Mart (the only place open in a snow storm) and bought you some good stuff. Don't worry, it is stuff we know you need and won't cause extra baggage. :) We love you and miss you tons. PS- Dirt says MOW
